Poker Club : Showing it’s hand

With the majority of the world locked away due to Covid-19 regular Poker nights with friends have taken a knock on the head, but with Ripstone games new IP Poker Club you can have all the fun and social interactions of a poker night in your own front room.
Releasing on the 19th November for only £19.99 / $24.99 it’s available to pre-order now on the Xbox store.

Here’s a quick look at what you can expect from the gameplay.


Available on the Xbox One and Series X|S, the game will also feature smart delivery, so if you haven’t taken the step to next-gen you can play now on Xbox One and you already own the the enhanced version for further down the line.
As well as 4K resolution and a smooth 60 frames per second, Poker Club will feature advanced rendering techniques including advanced ray tracing for realistic lighting, shadows and reflections which looks fantastic from the pre-release footage and quite possibly the closest you’ll get to a poker night, without the risk of having to remortgage your house.

While there’s balanced AI who will call, fold and bluff like a pro (or your uncle Bob who thinks he’s a card shark) it’s great to hear that the game will feature tutorials for new players to get to grips with the worlds favorite card game and built as a social experience, with tournaments housing upto 200 players and a wide selection of customisation options to make your character stand out from the crowd you’ll soon be dealing with friends new and old.

Poker clubs further enhance the social direction, allowing you to create or join a club for your community to work together towards shared goals and unlocking rewards including club-specific items, with cross-platform and cross-generation support it’ll be easier than ever to be a part of your very own Poker club. There’s a multitude of game options, modes and tournaments as well as seven arena’s rom your local pizzeria to the colourful intesity arena.

We’re keeping our cards close to our chest, but Poker Club certainly looks like it’s worth a call.

Just a reminder that Ripstone Games’ brand new IP Poker Club, is out November 19th for PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. For PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Poker Club will now be launching on November 20th. On Xbox platforms Poker Club includes Smart Delivery meaning players only have to buy Poker Club once to get the game on all Xbox One and Xbox Series platforms. Poker Club will also support free cross-gen purchases for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions. Poker Club will come to Nintendo Switch in 2021.
